Mrs. Prisca Spitz has been an educator in Connecticut for over twenty years. She has extensive personal and professional experience helping families navigate the challenges of parenting in an ever changing, complex world. Mrs. Spitz has worked to foster children's innate sense of kindness through volunteering efforts. Her interest in this area led her to complete a Master's degree in Business Leadership with a focus specifically on Non-Profit Leadership.
Mrs. Falsetta, a former SMP parent, received her Bachelor of Science in Education from Long Island University and her Masters of Science in Education from Hunter College. She taught elementary school for eight years before taking time off to raise her children. Now that they are older, Brigida is returning to education working as the Head teacher for the Threes classroom.
Mrs. Landri believes in providing a safe and nurturing class environment to help her students grow. She holds an Associate’s degree in Childhood Development from Norwalk Community College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Urban Healthcare Management from St. John's University.
Ms. Lauten graduated from Manhattanville College where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a concentration in Child Development. Further, she received her Master of Arts degree in Education, Pre-K through 6th grade.
Mrs. Nagle is a graduate from SUNY New Paltz. Mrs. Nagle's many years of nurturing children include raising her own two children, working as a two's teacher in New Canaan, working as an art teacher in a two's program in Darien, volunteering as a literary aide and teaching Junior Achievement in the Norwalk Public Schools.
Mrs. Panagrossi graduated from Providence College with a dual degree in elementary and special education. She also has a Master’s degree in teaching, with a concentration in reading, from Sacred Heart University. Mrs. Panagrossi was a teacher at East School in New Canaan for 13 years.
Mrs. Strazsky was born and raised in Slovak Republic and attended Safarik University where she earned a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Education. Before joining the SMP staff, Mrs Strazsky taught in elementary school for 7 years.
Mrs. Barber Mrs. Barber holds a Bachelor’s degree majoring in Early Childhood Education and minoring in Child Psychology from Boston University. She taught preschool and junior kindergarten before becoming a stay at home mom. Mrs. Barber is returning to teach at St. Mark’s where her children attended preschool.
Mrs. de la Rivera
Mrs. de la Rivera holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Berry College in Georgia. She has had many years of experience in a preschool environment. Mrs. de la Rivera has furthered her education with courses in Health, Safety and Nutrition as well as “Imagination at Play.”
Mrs. Frattaroli received her Bachelor’s of Science and Arts from the University of Hartford. For many years, she worked in managerial positions as well as computers. She took time off to raise her two sons. Volunteering to teach during that time, Mrs. Frattaroli discovered a passion for working with children and brings a creative, gentle, yet energetic presence to the Older Twos class.
Mrs. Lawrence graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University in 2016. She has worked with preschool age children for four years during college and during the summer months and for the past two years was assistant teacher in the Twos class. She is excited with her new position as assistant teacher in the Fours. Mrs. Lawrence is currently working towards her Master’s in Education Administration.
Mrs. Lowitz holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Hartwick College. She was a a pre-school teacher in Greenwich, CT for 6 years prior to becoming a stay-at-home mom and then returning to the preschool world at SMP.
Mrs. Moore received her Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Rowan University and then continued her education at with a Master’s in Business Administration at Sacred Heart University. and worked in the business world for many years. Supporting her children’s schools by volunteering, Mrs. Moore became actively involved in creating enrichment programs, working on the class yearbook and organizing events as Class Parent. Mrs. Moore is excited to be working with the Threes.
Mrs. Wilderman attended the University of Colorado where she received a Bachelor’s of Art in Education and Religious Studies. She continued her education at Lesley University earning a Master’s degree in Reading. Mrs. Wilderman taught grade school before staying at home to raise her children. She brings a calm, caring demeanor to her work with our littlest one, the Young Twos.
